Domaine Jean Teiller - Menetou Salon Blanc 2023

Domaine Jean Teiller is located in Menetou-Salon , in the Loire Valley. It is a family business created in the 1950s by Léon Millet. In 1986, their son Jean-Jacques , after having worked as a cook, and his wife Monique , joined forces in this adventure. In 2003, their daughter Patricia and her husband Olivier joined them. The estate covers an area of 18 hectares, and is located on the best hillsides of the communes of Menetou-Salon, Parassy, Aubinges and Vignoux-sous-les-Aix. The entire estate has been certified organic since 2017, with biodynamic certification since 2022.

Menetou-Salon Blanc is made from Sauvignon Blanc grown on a 9-hectare plot, including 3.5 hectares of vines over 20 years old. The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and destemmed before being pressed directly. The wine is aged in vats (95%) and barrels (5%).
