Orcines is a range of independent bottlings developed by The Whisky Lodge under the direction of Pierre Tissandier. Renowned for its high standards, the house carefully selects distillates and casks from the finest Scottish distilleries. This artisanal approach aims to reveal the unique identity of each whisky, without artifice or compromise.

Williamson is the name behind the independent bottlings from the famous Laphroaig distillery on the Isle of Islay . This whisky, distilled in 2012, has been aged for 11 years in a single cask ( #93612) that has held several sherry casks, offering remarkable complexity.

Peat

"Medicinal peat and intense smokiness, typical of Islay, balanced by the aged sweetness of sherry. Aromas of hot tar, candied black fruits, licorice and iodine. A pure and straightforward Islay, both raw and subtle. The wild elegance of Laphroaig, in a confidential version."
