Domaine Petit Roy - Saint-Romain En Chevrot 2021

Domaine Petit-Roy is located in Chorey-Les-Beaune , in Burgundy . The Estate is owned by Seiichi Wang . Born in China, he grew up in Japan and became interested in vines at the age of 22. He completed an internship in a local estate in 2005 then left Japan to deepen his knowledge of wine in several prestigious estates and followed training in Beaune. He decided to stay in France and created the restaurant La Lune in Beaune before finally launching, in 2006, and creating Domaine Petit-Roy. He works 2.1 hectares of vines cultivated in non-certified biodynamic agriculture .

The majority of its reds are worked in whole bunches . For aging, he does not use any new barrels to avoid any marking by the wood. He still simply carries out a light sulfiting during aging to avoid any aromatic deviation.
