ANGOSTURA - 1824 - 40%
The prestigious history of Angostura begins in 1824, when Dr. Johann Gottlieb Benjamin Siegert created his unique Bitter recipe in the town of Angostura, Venezuela. Angostura Bitters is now an essential and iconic ingredient for preparing renowned classic cocktails such as the Manhattan or the Old Fashioned, cherished worldwide. In 1875, the company settled in Trinidad, its current headquarters, where it continues its exceptional expertise. In the 1940s, Angostura diversified its expertise by launching the distillation of its own Trinidadian rum, offered in a refined range of exceptional white and amber rums.
Angostura 1824 pays tribute to this historical heritage founded in 1824 by Dr. Siegert. This exceptional rum is aged a minimum of 12 years in carefully selected American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, benefiting from a medium char that develops rich and complex aromas. Its maturity offers a perfect balance between sweetness, woody notes, and vanilla touches, ideal for discerning lovers of premium spirits.
