Worthy Park - Aged Rum Cream - 15%
Worthy Park is an iconic distillery located in Jamaica, nestled in the heart of the picturesque Lluidas Valley. Founded in 1670, its historic building remains intact, bearing witness to a rich heritage, while the estate has expanded through the gradual acquisition of neighboring properties. Owned by the Clarke family since 1918, this distillery passionately upholds a centuries-old tradition with expertise and dedication. In its early days, Worthy Park was not solely dedicated to sugarcane cultivation and sugar production, but also operated lands for cattle breeding, citrus farming, poultry, and other diversified agricultural productions. However, over the decades, the activity refocused on intensive sugarcane cultivation, with about 40% of the land now dedicated to the sugar industry, cultivating no less than 20 different varieties of cane. With experience dating back to the 1740s in crafting exceptional rums, Worthy Park has gone through periods of fluctuation, notably after World War II when surplus Jamaican production led to a temporary suspension in 1962, in accordance with an agreement with the Spirits Pool Association of Jamaica. After several decades without distillation, the Clarke family revived the tradition in 2004 by focusing on an exceptional Jamaican rum, made with rigorously selected ingredients and distilled according to the traditional Jamaican Pot-Still method, thus ensuring unmatched quality and authenticity.
This aged rum cream is a subtle and refined blend between a richly aromatic aged rum and a creamy fresh cream, offering a unique tasting experience, ideal for lovers of smooth and elegant spirits.
