The Distillerie Massenez, located in Dieffenbach-au-Val in the heart of Alsace, is an iconic house founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a renowned master distiller. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling for the first time an exceptional wild raspberry eau-de-vie, appreciated at the royal court of Sweden, making the distillery an official supplier to the Queen and King of Sweden. The third generation, under the leadership of Gabriel Eugène, strengthened the house's reputation by partnering with prestigious starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and the famous Parisian restaurant La Tour d’Argent. Facing this growth, a new distillery was established in 1979. Today, the brand is distributed in over 110 countries and offers a diverse range of refined products. In 2010, Distillerie Massenez joined the renowned Grandes Distilleries Peureux, notably thanks to Bernard Baud, their president, famous for Griottines. This synergy revitalizes Distillerie Massenez while preserving its heritage and unique know-how.
