The Maison Grosperrin was founded by Jean Grosperrin, a passionate and visionary man, who arrived in Cognac in 1991 after having worked in various jobs such as farm worker, shepherd, and sheep shearer during the summer. In 1992, he became a countryside broker, traveling the terroirs to find the rarest and most authentic lots of cognacs from small family farms. In 1999, his approach evolved into targeted purchases of old barrels, giving birth to a collection of exceptional eaux-de-vie that the Maison produces thanks to its three traditional stills. Thus began the unique story of Cognacs Grosperrin. In 2004, his son Guilhem took over, strengthening the company by building prestigious stocks and enriching the cellars with exceptional vintage cognacs. He carefully selects exceptional parcels and establishes long-term contracts with rigorous and passionate winegrowers. From 2012 onwards, he expanded the Maison's reputation by meeting many foreign importers, thus developing a wide network of knowledgeable enthusiasts and demanding collectors worldwide.
Borderies 1964 Lot No. 843 is a Cognac of rare age, acquired from the widow of a man whose father settled in Burie as early as 1930, in the heart of one of the best slopes of the prestigious Borderies. This exceptional lot has been carefully preserved over the decades by the family, serving as a living testimony of a bygone era and ancestral know-how. It is an extremely rare treasure, meticulously guarded by the broker who offered it to Maison Grosperrin, thus guaranteeing unmatched authenticity and quality. Only 277 liters of this precious cognac were produced, making it a limited edition, ideal for connoisseurs and lovers of exceptional spirits.
