Clos des Spiritueux is proud to present its very first range exclusively dedicated to exceptional whiskies from around the world: Ex Libris. This prestigious collection begins with a rigorous selection from the iconic Irish Distillers group, offering three exceptional Irish Single Malts vintage 1994, 1995, and 1996, bottled under the famous Knappogue Castle brand. Additionally, the Ex Libris range also includes a rare 22-year-old Canadian Rye Whisky, renowned for its finesse and aromatic complexity. Each bottle in this exclusive series is part of a refined literary universe, where the labels evoke the iconic covers of great literary classics, reflecting major works from the whiskies' countries of origin. Thus, the Irish Single Malts pay tribute to the stories of the legendary Irish writer Oscar Wilde, while the Canadian Rye refers to the famous work "Son of a Smaller Hero" by the Anglo-Canadian author Mordecai Richler.

Knappogue Castle "The Devoted Friend" 1995 is an exceptional Single Malt aged 25 years, distilled in 1995 following the Irish tradition of triple distillation, a guarantee of purity and complexity. This exceptional whisky has patiently matured in a single Bourbon cask (number #888892), which imparts deep aromas and a silky texture to this elixir. The rarity of this vintage is enhanced by a limited edition of only 207 numbered bottles, intended for discerning enthusiasts and collectors.
