La Mentheuse was born from a shared passion of three friends passionate about the Languedoc terroir, Lionel and Dominique Albano as well as Frédéric Bion. Drawing on their experience in the world of wine and gastronomy, and driven by a deep attachment to artisan digestive liqueurs with authentic character, they decided to create a local alternative that is healthier and less alcoholic. After many months of meticulous research in collaboration with the renowned Grap’Sud distillery, known for its expertise in wine alcohol near Uzès, they developed a natural crème de menthe, without additives, with a reduced alcohol content and a discreet sugar level, to enhance the authentic aromas of three varieties of mint: La Mentheuse.
