The previous vintage, 2018, was awarded the prestigious title of World’s Best Blended Limited Release at the renowned World Whisky Awards 2018. This unique expression is a meticulous blend of exceptional components: a sublime Hanyu 27 years old, a grain whisky Kawazaki 35 years aged in Sherry casks, as well as a young but talented Chichibu 5 years. This marriage reveals both the essence of the past and the promise of the future of Japanese whisky, united in a single glass. The distillery emphasizes total transparency here by clearly displaying the origin of this exceptional blend: exclusively from the Land of the Rising Sun. This rare whisky expresses rich, complex, and deep aromas, with remarkable finesse. The limited edition is numbered and strictly limited to 500 bottles worldwide.
