Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette - Ze Cinsault 2023

Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette is located on the Terrasses du Larzac, in Languedoc . It has belonged to Julien and Delphine Zernott since 2003. Their vineyard of around twenty hectares is divided into around fifty terraces on either side of the Pégairolles de l'Escalette and Lauroux valleys. The vines are planted at an altitude of 350 meters on the limestone scree of the causse, surrounded by dry stone walls and "clapas" (piles of stone). The estate is certified biodynamic .

This vintage comes from a plot of old Cinsault located in the Lauroux valley.

Grape variety: 100% Cinsault

"Delicate nose of small red fruits, faded rose and a touch of minerality. The palate is fine, chiseled, with natural tension and beautiful transparency of fruit. A Cinsault of height, all finesse and chalky freshness."
