TAYLOR'S - Porto - Fine White
The Taylor’s Port House is ideally located in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the south bank of the majestic Douro River, opposite the historic city of Porto, in the heart of Portugal. Founded in 1692 by Job Bearsley, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious Port houses, renowned for its ancestral expertise and the exceptional quality of its wines. For over two centuries, the Yeatman family has passionately and committedly upheld this family tradition, ensuring excellence in production. The grapes used come mainly from the exceptional vineyards of the Douro Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage wine region, whose unique terroir, combining schist soils and a Mediterranean climate, gives Port wines their incomparable character. In addition to its expertise in Port wines, Taylor’s also cultivates vineyards in other renowned Portuguese wine regions, notably in Alentejo, thus enriching its range with still wines of great finesse.
The Fine White is a refined blend of carefully selected white Port wines, aged on average three years in high-quality oak barrels. This sweet and fortified wine stands out for its perfect balance between freshness, sweetness, and aromatic elegance, intertwining subtle notes of white-fleshed fruits, citrus, and honey. It is traditionally served chilled, delicately enhancing your aperitifs, but also proves an ideal companion to accompany desserts and convivial moments. This emblematic product perfectly illustrates Taylor’s expertise and high standards in the art of producing exceptional Port wines.
