COGNAC LHERAUD - Cognac VSOP Marie Jeanne
The Maison Lhéraud is ideally located at the Lasdoux estate, in the commune of Angeac, in the heart of the prestigious Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, it was Alexandre Lhéraud who was the family pioneer by planting vines for the first time in his own garden. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of exceptional vineyards, spread over 2 of the 6 authentic Cognac crus, with a marked dominance of the renowned Petite Champagne. The Lhéraud family proudly operates 5 traditional cellars made of blonde Charente stone, offering perfect conditions for the resting of Limousin oak barrels, thus promoting natural and controlled aging. Furthermore, from Lannepax in Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a remarkable range of Armagnacs under the signature Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs are the result of a simple and authentic distillation of dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, made in a traditional column still.
