COGNAC LHÉRAUD - Cognac VSOP Limited Edition No. 2
The Maison Lhéraud is located at the Lasdoux estate, in the commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the Cognac appellation in Charentes, world-renowned for its exceptional eaux-de-vie. Founded in 1860 by Alexandre Lhéraud, a family pioneer who planted the first vines in his garden, the house embodies a strong winemaking tradition and expertise passed down from generation to generation. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vineyards spread over two of the six prestigious crus of Cognac, with a predominance in the famous Petite Champagne, an emblematic terroir guaranteeing finesse and elegance to the eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family operates five authentic cellars made of blonde Charente stone, where Limousin oak barrels ensure natural and controlled aging, essential to the finesse and aromatic complexity of the cognacs.
At the same time, Maison Lhéraud develops a range of exceptional Armagnacs produced in the Lannepax region, in Gers, under the brand Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs come from a traditional single distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in column stills, which gives these spirits remarkable richness and complexity, appreciated by connoisseurs worldwide.
To best discover these treasures of excellence, Clos des Spiritueux offers you a rigorous and exclusive selection, adapted to Cognac and Armagnac enthusiasts seeking refined and authentic products. Explore the historical and gustatory richness of Maison Lhéraud with our signed range, including the famous Cognac VSOP Limited Edition No. 2, distinguished by its perfect balance between aging and aromatic intensity.
