Lab+Distillery is a house entirely dedicated to exceptional craftsmanship and the passionate culture of spirits. The historic Mackmyra Bruk distillery, founded in 2002 in Sweden, is a large-scale pot still distillery, renowned for its unique expertise. It was in this iconic place that Mackmyra crafted its very first Single Malt whisky until 2011, before transferring production to the Gravity distillery, located in the village of Mackmyra Whisky. In 2017, the Mackmyra Bruk distillery was refurbished and renamed Lab+Distillery by Mackmyra, with the mission to create new categories of innovative spirits, in close collaboration with expert artisan distillers, to push the boundaries of traditional distillation.
Lab Distillery Organic Gin represents a modern and artisanal gin, subtly combining a classic taste with authentic Swedish flavors. It is made from organic agricultural ingredients, carefully selected and distilled in Mackmyra Bruk's traditional copper pot still. Among the distilled botanicals are wild juniper, refined coriander, fresh lemon zest, delicate elderflower, wild lingonberry, and an exotic touch of mango, which bring a unique and balanced aromatic complexity. This exceptional Organic Gin was specially designed to enhance classic gin cocktails as well as dry martinis, offering an elegant and contemporary tasting experience.
