Located in the heart of Sancerrois, Domaine Delaporte is a family business, handed down from father to son since the 17th century.
It is located in the charming village of Chavignol, already famous for its cheese, Crottin de Chavignol.

Today, Matthieu Delaporte , grandson of Vincent Delaporte, guided by his passion, has been deploying his energy, since 2010, to enhance the estate's wines: restructuring of the estate, tillage without herbicides, lower yields, vinification in barrels. ...

The Domaine produces Sancerre of great subtlety while respecting the traditions taught. Questioning and attention to detail are major concerns.

Since 2015, the harvest has once again been carried out entirely by hand to continue to improve in quality and avoid damaging the vines.
All the wines of our production are exclusively harvested on our property which covers 33 hectares, planted with 75% of the noble and very old grape variety Sauvignon Blanc, and for the rest, of the most delicate and elegant of the red grape varieties, the Pinot Noir. . The watchword of the estate is respect for the terroir and the environment
which is our working tool and the heritage that we will bequeath to future generations.
With 50 different plots, the Domaine's terroir is very diverse. Exposed to the South for 80% of the plots, it enjoys a remarkable exposure with 35% of the vines in flint soil (rare in Sancerrois) and the other part in limestone soil (caillottes and white soil)
