The Maison Lhéraud, emblematic of the Charentais terroir, is located at the Lasdoux estate in the commune of Angeac, in the prestigious Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, this family house was a pioneer thanks to Alexandre Lhéraud, who was the first to plant vines in his garden, thus giving birth to a tradition of viticultural excellence. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of meticulously maintained vineyards, spread over 2 of the 6 official Cognac crus, with a notable predominance of the great and renowned Petite Champagne, known for the finesse and elegance of its eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family owns and maintains 5 cellars made of the typical blonde stone of Charente, where Limousin oak barrels patiently rest, ensuring a natural and harmonious aging of the cognacs. Furthermore, Maison Lhéraud expands its long-standing expertise by producing a wide range of superior quality Armagnacs in Gers, at Lannepax, under the prestigious brand Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs, made from a simple distillation of dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, are crafted in a traditional column still, thus guaranteeing authenticity and aromatic richness.
