Located on one of the most beautiful hillsides of Montlouis, the Hauts de Husseau plot rests on tuffeau soils, mixing clay and limestone. This single-plot cuvée is renowned for producing deep, taut wines with great mineral complexity. The 2023 vintage, marked by a remarkable balance between sunshine and freshness, allowed the Chenin to express all its purity and verticality. This wine embodies the distinguished elegance of Montlouis in its finest expression.
The bright, crystalline, light gold color suggests a precise wine. The nose opens with subtle aromas of white flowers, fresh pear, and citrus, enhanced by a chalky minerality. On the palate, the attack is lively and chiseled, carried by a fine acidity that underlines the natural tension of the terroir.
