SANTA TERESA 1796 - Arabica Coffee Cask Finish - 46%
Hacienda Santa Teresa is located in the heart of Venezuela 's magnificent mountain valley of Aragua , a region renowned for the exceptional quality of its terroirs. Founded in 1796, this historic distillery was initially dedicated to the cultivation of coffee, cocoa and sugar cane. In 1830, Gustav Julius Vollmer , a young German trader, settled in Venezuela and met the famous revolutionary Panchita Rivas. Since then, the Vollmer family and their descendants have passionately perpetuated the know-how and tradition of rum at Santa Teresa.
In its quest for excellence and originality, Santa Teresa offers a unique special edition: this refined rum has been refined in barrels previously used for the aging of a cold infusion made from Arabica coffee beans harvested directly from the Hacienda. This coffee barrel finish enhances the aromatic complexity of the rum, offering an inimitable sensory profile with gourmet aromas of coffee, cocoa and sugar cane.
Discover this exceptional rum at Clos des Spiritueux , the go-to source for rare and exceptional spirits. Be captivated by the perfect blend of Venezuelan excellence, rich traditions, and innovation in the creation of premium rums.
