Appleton Estate is a sugar and rum producer located in the middle of Jamaica 's Nassau Valley, where rum making has existed for over 265 years. Surrounded by densely wooded limestone hills, the topography of the region makes it an original rum. The rums are aged in a tropical climate , which allows the spirit to mature more quickly. Appleton Estate produces 4 standard rum expressions and 4 age-stated expressions.

The 1993 edition was distilled in a Forsyth still, then aged for 29 years . Drums No. 413487 to No. 413499 have been assembled to create this limited edition collection. 3,600 bottles were produced.
