Cognac GROSPERRIN - MMC3 - Pineau from 1979 - Lot No. 961 - 2022 Edition - 18.5%
The Maison Grosperrin was founded by Jean Grosperrin, who arrived in Cognac in 1991 after a varied professional experience as an agricultural worker, shepherd, and sheep shearer during the summer. In 1992, he became a country broker and traveled the small vineyards of the region, always searching for the rarest and most authentic lots. In 1999, a decisive turning point occurred when he acquired several casks of exceptional old cognacs. Combined with his three traditional stills, this marked the beginning of the unique adventure of Cognacs Grosperrin. In 2004, his son Guilhem took over and gave a new dimension to the company. He built strategic stocks and enriched the cellars with carefully selected exceptional cognacs. At the same time, he rigorously selected vineyard plots and established sustainable contracts with passionate winegrowers. In 2012, Guilhem expanded the Maison's influence by meeting numerous foreign importers, thus developing a strong network of knowledgeable enthusiasts and informed collectors worldwide.
MMC3 is a Pineau des Charentes made exclusively from carefully selected muté musts by Cognac Grosperrin. This exceptional lot benefited from optimal aging in old 550-liter casks, giving the Pineau complex aromas and remarkable aromatic richness.
