The Penderyn Distillery is located at the southern tip of the majestic Brecon Beacons National Park, in the heart of Wales. Whisky distillation in Wales, long forgotten, was revived in the late 1990s thanks to the passion of a group of friends who founded the first Welsh distillery in over a century. The choice of the historic village of Penderyn is no coincidence: it benefits from a natural spring water supply of exceptional purity, essential for producing an exceptional whisky. The official launch of their whisky took place during the Welsh national holiday, St. David's Day, in 2004, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Charles, highlighting the importance of this artisanal revival.

This rare expression was carefully selected by La Maison du Whisky within the prestigious Conquête range. Distilled in 2012, this whisky aged for 9 years in a single Sherry Amontillado cask (#S72), giving the single malt an intense aromatic richness and remarkable complexity. Only 312 bottles of this limited edition were produced, making each bottle a prized collector's item for enthusiasts and connoisseurs.
