Vulcain Cider House - Poiré - La Prémoudière 2022
La Cidrerie du Vulcain has been producing local ciders in the canton of Fribourg , Switzerland , since 2006. Jacques Perritaz , after meeting Eric Bordelet in Normandy, decided to use "forgotten " fruits from the old, isolated and untreated orchards of the Pays de Fribourg, with a custom press to make natural ciders . Since 2013, he has been planting a 4-hectare orchard of old varieties for juice, cider, perry and calvados called Les Vergers du Vulcain . His orchard is cultivated using organic farming .
La Prémoudière is a perry made from a blend of 25 varieties of pears , carefully harvested by hand on the Normandy estate.
" A precise and elegant perry, with aromas of ripe pears, white flowers and almonds. On the palate, lively freshness, beautiful tension, slightly tannic and saline finish."
