ANGOSTURA - Tribute Distiller's Cut - Homage to John Georges - 44.7%
The history of Angostura begins in 1824, when Dr. Siegert wanted to perfect his recipe for Bitters in the town of Angostura in Venezuela. Angostura Bitters are an essential ingredient for making cocktails such as the Manhattan or the Old Fashioned. In 1875, the company moved to Trinidad , where it still resides today. It was in the 1940s that Angostura began distilling its own Trinidadian rum , whose range consists of white and amber rums.
Angostura Tribute Distiller's Cut Aged Rum is a tribute to its master distiller, John Georges , who dedicated over 40 years to crafting Angostura's signature rums with skill and precision. This blend brings together the finest rums from Angostura's aged reserves, including a 25-year-old rum.
