The Kavalan distillery, named after an ancient indigenous tribe from the region, is located in the northeast of Taiwan Island. Founded by the prestigious King Car group, Kavalan enlisted the world's best whisky specialists to create a spirit of impeccable quality. From the beginning, the distillery aimed to become a major reference in the world of luxury whisky. Thanks to close collaboration with the legendary expert Jim Swan, Kavalan produced its first new-make spirit on March 11, 2006, before launching its very first commercial whisky in December 2008. By carefully selecting their best casks, Kavalan Single Casks quickly established themselves on the international market, winning numerous prestigious medals and captivating both enthusiasts and the most discerning connoisseurs.

This exclusive Vinho Barrique LMDW edition is part of a limited release of only 170 bottles, certifying its rare and precious character. Bottled at its natural strength of 57.10%, this single cask stands out for its exceptional aromatic richness, combining finesse and intensity. This award-winning cuvée, voted best whisky of the year, offers a palette of complex and delicate flavors, resulting from a unique aging in Portuguese wine casks. Each tasting promises an intense sensory experience and an unforgettable moment of emotion, ideal for enriching your collection of exceptional whiskies.
