Squadron 303 - Vodka - Peated - The Peatfire Flask - 40%
Inspired by the heroism of the Polish pilots of the legendary 303 Squadron of the Royal Air Force , this vodka pays tribute to a story of brotherhood and taste discovery. These aviators, formidable in flight, introduced their British allies to vodka , while in return discovering the subtleties of whiskies from Ireland, Scotland and England during their postings to various RAF bases.
Squadron 303 The Peatfire is a bold vodka distilled from King Edward potatoes , in keeping with tradition. The potatoes are dried over a peat fire, giving the distillate unique smoky and earthy notes. Distilled only once to preserve the full aromatic richness of the raw material, this vodka evokes both terroir and fire.
The bottle leaves no one indifferent: a robust design inspired by the flasks of pilots during the Second World War, fashioned from solid white glass, with a metal base engraved with the motto "Originally Distilled in England by Polish Heroes" . The chrome-plated brass cap, adorned with the brand's coat of arms, completes this collector's item crafted between France and England.
"A delicately smoky nose, with accents of peat and damp earth, evoking a wood fire on the tarmac of an English base. On the palate, a silky attack carried by the sweetness of King Edward potatoes, followed by a smoky, dry, almost saline crescendo, reminiscent of great peated whiskies. A vodka of character, halfway between two worlds."
