Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - Annick's Cognac - Lot No. 92 - Grande Champagne - 45.9%
The Pasquet Cognac House is located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in Bellevigne in Charente . In 1970, Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert and became responsible for the family estate, which includes 8 hectares of vines in Grande and Petite Champagne. The estate expanded to 14 hectares, cultivated since 1995 using certified organic farming . The 20 hectoliter still produces fine and rich eaux-de-vie from a double distillation process, which are then aged for a minimum of 4 years, or 2 more years of legal oak aging to obtain the "Cognac" designation. The House is now run by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, who is of American origin.
The Trésors de Famille collection was created in 2018, following a shortage of old cognacs. The Pasquet family then called upon distillers who had "hidden treasures" in their cellars. A single barrel is selected from each of these enthusiasts and finishes its aging in the cellars of Maison Pasquet. Each bottle bears the producer's first name, and comes from a limited and numbered series. Annick's Cognac comes from the Grande Champagne cru, and 152 bottles were produced for this Lot 92 .
