Domaine aux Moines is located in Savennières , in Anjou in the Loire Valley. Since 1981, it has belonged to Monique Laroche and her daughter Tessa . The estate has been conducted in certified organic farming since 2006 and is oriented towards biodynamics. The 12 hectare vineyard is located in the place called La Roche aux Moines, enclosed in the Savennières vineyard, and benefits from a particular micro-climate.

Savennières-Roche aux Moines is made from Chenin Blanc vines approximately 45 years old, grown on 10 hectares. Vinification is carried out in barrels and tuns for 12 months . The batches are assembled and left to rest for an additional 6 months .
