The Penderyn Distillery, a gem of Wales, is ideally located at the southern tip of the magnificent Brecon Beacons National Park. Distillation in Wales, long forgotten, was revived in the late 1990s thanks to a group of passionate enthusiasts who founded the first Welsh whisky distillery in over a century. The choice of the charming historic village of Penderyn is no coincidence: it benefits from a supply of natural spring water of exceptional purity, a key element of the unique character of their whiskies. This liquid treasure was unveiled on Saint David's Day in 2004, in the prestigious presence of His Royal Highness Prince Charles.
Penderyn Small Batch Autumn 2022 is a bold and refined blend that marries the exceptional: a triptych of carefully selected casks, including a sherry Amontillado cask, a Jamaican rum cask, and a Portuguese sweet wine Carcavelos cask. This rare limited edition consists of only 1,030 bottles, offering a rich, deep, and balanced sensory experience.
