Clos Virolle - Vignobles Ponty 2019

Les Vignobles Ponty is located in Libourne in Bordeaux . It is a family estate that has existed since 1905 when Victor Ponty, the great-grandfather originally from Corrèze, settled in Fronsac to produce and sell wine. Five generations have succeeded one another and the vineyard has been managed since 2019 by Hélène Ponty , the daughter of Michel Ponty who was born on the property and began working there at the age of 21 alongside her father and older brother. .

Clos Virolle is the latest addition to the Ponty family wine collection and one of the rare Bordeaux Supérieures to still be harvested by hand.

Grape varieties: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc
