The Penderyn Distillery is ideally located at the southern end of the Brecon Beacons National Park, in the heart of Wales. Once, distillation in Wales was a lost craft for over a century. However, in the late 1990s, a passionate group of friends revived this art by founding the first Welsh whisky distillery in over a century. The choice of the historic village of Penderyn was made due to the exceptional purity of its natural spring water supply, a key element in the quality of the whisky produced. The official launch of Penderyn whisky took place on St. David's Day in 2004, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Charles, marking a major revival in the whisky industry in the United Kingdom.

Penderyn French Flair is a very exclusive edition specially created to celebrate the 2023 Rugby World Cup. This remarkable whisky benefits from a unique aging process of 6 years in French wine casks from the prestigious Cadillac wine region, followed by a 4-year finishing in carefully selected Cognac casks. This double maturation gives the whisky complex aromas combining the richness of French wine and the elegant notes of Cognac. The sophisticated box bears the names of the opposing countries in the same pool as Wales: Fiji, Australia, Georgia, and Portugal. This limited collection includes only 600 bottles, making each bottle a true collector's item for lovers of exceptional spirits.
