The prestigious Taylor’s Port House is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the south bank of the majestic Douro River, opposite the iconic city of Porto, in the heart of Portugal. Founded in 1692 by Job Bearsley, Taylor’s is one of the oldest and most respected Port houses, embodying an exceptional winemaking heritage. Today, the company is proudly managed by the Yeatman family, who continue a family tradition spanning over two centuries. Taylor’s exceptional wines are made from carefully selected grapes from the outstanding vineyards of the Douro Valley, where a unique terroir and ideal climate favor the production of exceptional Ports. Taylor’s holds one of the largest and most valuable reserves of old Ports aged in oak barrels, including rare and exclusive collections of single vintage Ports, called Single Harvest. These true viticultural gems, from a single vintage, patiently mature in oak barrels before reaching full maturity, thus revealing all the richness and complexity of their terroir. Each bottle proudly displays the harvest year on its label, ensuring unmatched traceability and authenticity, ideal for discerning enthusiasts and collectors.
