The vault of Bacchus is the vineyard of Lucien Aviet nicknamed by his friends Bacchus! The God of wine A nice name given to this great man from Jura. This bon vivant vinfie for more than 50 years the grapes of this exploitation of nearly 6 hectares in appellation Arbois on the commune of Montigny-les-Arsures. His son Vincent has joined him on the estate since 1991. Cultivated in pest control with a particular care in the vineyard. Manual harvest and plot. Vinifcaiton in natural yeast and matured in oak barrels to produce wines in a classic style but far from routine :)

This cuvée des Géologues - Maceration of 229 days 2015 is a wine which, as its name suggests, was macerated for 229 days, nearly seven months in contact with dandruff. A cuvée of great finesse with aromas of wild strawberry and balsamic accents. A great wine that is carved for keeping on perfectly melted tannins.
