Distillerie du Petit Grain – Gin Caviar – Magnum – 47%
The Distillerie du Petit Grain is a small-scale distillery located in Saint- Jean de Minervois , in the Hérault region, founded by Patricia and Laurent Gaspard . It produces fresh , pure and fragrant eaux-de-vie using an open-fire copper still designed by Jean-Louis Stupfler , an essential reference for high-end distilleries.
The raw materials are carefully chosen: only fruits from organic farming , picked at perfect ripeness , without mechanization . The distillates are produced without filtration , only the heating cores are preserved, guaranteeing a pure expression of the terroir, despite the low yields .
This Gin Caviar is a unique creation, crafted with citrus fruits from Michelin-starred chef Christophe Comes (Perpignan). The translucent citrus balls add a tangy , lively , and slightly saline dimension, while enhancing the gin's aroma.
"A gin of precision. The nose reveals a lively freshness, marked by citrus zest. On the palate, the lemony pearls release a crystalline, almost saline acidity, which contrasts with the sweetness of the alcohol. A gin with a unique character, between crispness, purity and aromatic brilliance."
