Mas de la Séranne - Nero d'Avola & Agiorgitiko 2024
Mas de la Séranne is located in Aniane in the Terrasses du Larzac region and takes its name from the hills facing the estate. In 1998, Jean-Pierre Venture and his wife Isabelle returned to their native Languedoc and decided to change their careers. The original five hectares of vines now extend to 16 hectares, cultivated using certified organic farming methods with biodynamic influences.
This vintage is a blend of the Italian Nero d'Avola grape variety (70%) and the Greek Agiorgitiko grape variety (30%) . Vinification is traditional in vats and then the wine is aged for 5 months in stainless steel vats .
