Due Terre - Catarratto 2021

Due Terre Wines is a range of wines from Sicily , produced by a group of friends. All the wines are produced in single varietals with native Italian varieties, and certified in organic farming . The island has the largest organic vineyard in Italy, produces quality wines in both IGT and DOC which are often sold as bulk wine and disappear into anonymous bottles. That's why the friends decided to highlight these native grapes. The labels are made by Chiccabu, an illustrator who represents drawings of traditional puppets used during the Orlando Furioso, or on the occasion of the theater plays of the Opera dei Pupi.

This white wine is made from Catarratto Bianco Lucido , harvested at over 650 meters above sea level on pure limestone. The grapes are harvested in mid-September, gently pressed and cold fermented for 15 days. The wine is aged in concrete vats for 4 months.
