Located in Nueil-sur-Layon, in the heart of the Anjou vineyard, Domaine de la Clartière is a family estate passed down through four generations of the Pinet family. Managing about 30 hectares of vines, the estate is part of a strong Anjou tradition, promoting dry, sweet, and characterful red wines made from emblematic Loire Valley grape varieties. On the palate, the attack is broad and silky, supported by a remarkable balance between richness and freshness, characteristic of great Loire Chenins. The aging adds nuances of brioche, almond, and vanilla, while maintaining an elegant mineral tension that structures the whole. The finish is long, persistent, and harmonious, marked by beautiful precision.
