Domaine Taupenot Merme - Saint Romain Blanc 2021

Domaine Taupenot-Merme is located in Morey-Saint-Denis , in the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy . It was founded in 1963, after the marriage of Denise Merme and Jean Taupenot. Their son Romain joined them full-time in 1998, followed by his sister Virginie, thus becoming the 7th generation of the Taupenot family to practice the profession of winemaker. The estate has approximately 13 hectares of vineyard, spread over around twenty different appellations on the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, including the Grands Crus Charmes-Chambertin and Mazoyères-Chambertin, as well as the Premier Cru La Riotte in Morey- St Denis. Taupenot-Merme also owns a small part of the Clos des Lambrays vineyard. The vines have been cultivated organically since 2001.
