Clos des Centenaires - Luxe Calme et Volupté 2018

Le Clos des Centenaires is located in the Costières-de-Nîmes appellation and covers 7 hectares of a hill of rolled pebbles Villafranchiens. Le Clos des Centenaires is owned by Luc Baudet and his wife Stéphanie. The soils are cultivated in natural grass with superficial plowing and special care given to the biodynamic compost that they prepare each year. Inputs are limited to natural products approved in organic farming, without pesticides.

The Luxe, Calme et Volupté is made from Cabernet Sauvignon (40%), Petit Verdot (40%), Merlot (10%) and Syrah (10%). Vinification takes place in concrete vats and the aging takes place in oak barrels used for one to three vintages for 12 months.
