Hailed by all the critics for the refinement and freshness of its style, Le Roc d'Anglade is an exceptional estate located between Rhône and Languedoc. Its owner, Rémy Pedreno , a passionate self-taught man , was able to make his dream come true thanks to René Rostaing, famous Côte-Rôtie winemaker.

Today Rémy is a true man of the land who magnifies the Languedoc grape varieties with unparalleled sincerity and regularity. His talent is exerted on his rare white and his great red wines which are among the best in the south, nourished by long aging, real delights as they express so well the fruitiness and complexity of these siliceous clay soils on marl. limestones.

The "Reserva Especial" cuvée corresponds to a blend of several vintages directly inspired by the Solera system, the goal being, according to Rémy Pédréno, "To rejuvenate an old wine with a newborn wine, to educate the innocent through refined wine". In fact, it is a strong and respectful nod to the largest and most expensive Spanish wine with the same Reserva Especial mention, produced by the Vega Sicilia estate in the Ribera del Duero. They were the first to compile vintages to create a cuvée unlike any other. In our opinion, this wine stands the comparison, an extraordinary great wine that will delight lovers of fleshy, complex wines without lacking in refinement.
