Dommaine OTT Rosé - Château de Selle Coeur de Grain - 2015

The Coeur de Grain Rosé from Château de Selle des Domaines Ott is one of the finest rosés in the world. The 64 hectare vineyard is located in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation, on the heights of limestone hills with a high proportion of pebbles in the soil (40 to 50%) and a slight presence of very fertile clays. The blend of this wine is composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah. Fermentation is carried out in vats and aging is carried out in oak casks for 6 to 9 months on average.

Pale pink in color, the 2015 Côtes de Provence "Rosé Cœur de Grain" from Château de Selle des Domaines Ott develops on the nose fragrances of citrus and white flowers to which are added subtle spicy notes. With a frank and elegant attack on the palate, the wine displays light flavors of lemons and shows sweetness and a pleasant length on the finish.

The organoleptic qualities described here are only valid for the year in which this wine was tasted. Naturally, wine is subject to evolution in the bottle throughout its life, modifying certain characteristics described here in this commentary.
