The second wine of Vieux Château Certan, is named after a plot which is located between Certan and Le Pin. Thirty percent of VCC's production is destined for La Gravette - especially young vines and Cabernets. The 2014 Gravette has a deep purple color, an attractive nose of raspberries, cherries, liquorice and wood leaves. On the palate, the wine has a nice balance and a round and generous texture. This wine can be enjoyed young on the fruit and drunk slightly chilled. A very pretty Pomerol worthy of a large estate.
