Distillery Massenez - Lavender Liqueur - 25%

The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in Alsace . It was created in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez , a home distiller. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez distilled wild raspberry for the first time, this eau-de-vie was appreciated by the Queen of Sweden and the distillery became official supplier to the court of the King of Sweden. Gabriel Eugène, the third generation, is developing the reputation of the distillery by associating with high gastronomy with starred chefs like Bocuse and fine restaurants like La Tour d'Argent. A new distillery was opened in 1979 to respond to their strong growth. The brand then developed in 110 countries and diversified its product range. In 2010, Distillerie Massenez joined forces with Grandes Distilleries Peureux . Bernard Baud, President of the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, on the other side of the Vosges and famous for its Griottines, breathed new life into the Distillerie Massenez, while retaining the House's DNA.

A liqueur is a neutral alcohol then sweetened and flavored. Fruit cream is part of the large family of liqueurs. The main difference between liqueur and fruit cream is the sugar content in the product. A liqueur has a minimum sugar content of 100 g/L and an alcohol level between 15 and 55%. Liqueurs that have more than 250 grams of sugar per liter are called "creams". Fruit liqueurs and creams are used to make cocktails, but also as a digestive or for cooking.

All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
