Hibiki Harmony was launched in 1989 to commemorate Suntory's philosophy of living in harmony with people and nature. The 24 seasons of the traditional Japanese calendar are represented in the 24 facets of its bottle design. It is a blend of malt and grain whiskeys from Suntory's Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries.
The 2021 limited edition pays homage to the Ryusui-Hyakka ("One Hundred Flowers and Flowing Water") motif. Often featured in traditional Japanese art as a ceremonial design, the Ryusui-Hyakka celebrates the harmony of the cyclical passage of time symbolized by the ever-changing flow of water and the flowers of the 24 seasons.
