Château Carbonneau - The Two Brothers 2024
Château Carbonneau is located in Gensac, between Saint-Emilion and Bergerac in the Bordeaux wine region. The oldest known owner was Jacques Fouignet-Verbacle, in 1823. The château was built from 1860 by the Bachan family. The end of the 19th century marked the golden age of Bordeaux wine. At that time, the seven-volume Grand Larousse mentioned Château Carbonneau as "a vintage of fine Bordeaux wines." Since 1992, Jacqueline and Wilfrid Franc De Ferrière have been running the winery and have since modernized the winery and restored the château to accommodate guests.
Les Deux Frères is a blend of Malbec (80%), Cabernet Franc (10%) and Merlot (10%) . The wine is aged in vats .
