Domaine de la Folie - Rully Blanc 1er Cru - Clos Saint-Jacques 2023

Domaine de la Folie is located in Chagny, in the Côte Chalonnaise region of Burgundy . Passed down through the generations for over 300 years, Clémence and Baptiste Dubrulle have been in charge of the property since 2010, after experiences in press relations and engineering. The estate covers 13 hectares in the heart of the Rully appellation. Its wines include the most sought-after climats of the appellation such as Clos Saint-Jacques in Premier Cru Monopole and Vieilles vignes or Clos de Bellecroix. The vineyard is managed using sustainable agriculture .

Rully Premier Cru Clos Saint-Jacques is made from Chardonnay grown on a clay-limestone terroir with a monopoly area of 1.69 hectares, and whose vines are 80 to 90 years old. After a manual harvest, the grapes are directly pressed at low pressure. The wine is aged in barrels, 20% of which are new.
