Vignoble du Rêveur - Pierres Sauvages - Pinots d'Alsace - Magnum 2022
The Vignoble du Rêveur is located in Bennwihr, in Alsace . It belongs to Mathieu Deiss , who in addition to working at the Marcel Deiss estate, embarked on a parallel project by taking over the vines of his grandfather and his maternal uncle. His vineyard covers 7 hectares, managed biodynamically since 2013. Mathieu Deiss invents, innovates, mixes grape varieties, and offers innovative winemaking.
Pierres Sauvages is a blend of Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir , grown on a Quaternary alluvial terroir. The age of the vines is around 50 years. Winemaking is carried out in tuns , without inputs. The wine is aged for 12 months on lees .
