Bordeaux Distilling Co. is located in the Bacalan district of Bordeaux . This urban distillery was created in 2019 by Antoine Gravouil (a young ex-finance expatriate in London), and is operated on a daily basis by Arnaud Chevalier , who cut his teeth in London as a bar manager (Whistling Shop and Black Rock) and within the cutting-edge company Fluid Movement. Bordeaux Distilling Co. produces a wide range of spirits (Gin, cereal brandy, liqueurs) in very small quantities.

Gin Bacalan is a London Dry Gin, in which all the ingredients are distilled together, by the combination of two techniques: maceration in the kettle during distillation and gentle steam extraction in a hanging basket. It is distilled in a single pass with the right volume of neutral alcohol and the exact amount of ingredients needed.
