BUNNAHABHAIN - 30 jaar - Jaargang 1990 - Black Series Douglas Laing - 43,5%

Douglas Laing is een onafhankelijke bottelaar gevestigd in Glasgow, Schotland. Het bedrijf werd opgericht in 1948 en is nog steeds een familiebedrijf. Ze produceren vele merken, waaronder de reeks « Remarkable Regional Malts », waaronder The Epicurean, Scallywag, Rock Island, Big Peat, Provenance…

XOP The Black Series is een uitbreiding van het merk Xtra Old Particular Single Cask Scotch Whisky. Elke fles wordt met de hand gevuld en heeft een geperst metalen etiket, een glazen stop en handgeschreven handtekeningen van Fred en Cara Laing. Een zwarte moleskine doos bevat een certificaat van echtheid naast de whiskyfles.

Deze editie werd gedistilleerd in de Bunnahabhain distilleerderij op het eiland Islay in november 1990. Het is een botteling van een hergebruikte Hogshead vat. De whisky werd gebotteld in april 2021 en er werden 291 flessen geproduceerd.
