Located in the town of Beausset, this locality is perched on the southern slope of the Beausset-Vieux massif on clay-limestone soil (200 million year old Muschelkalk underground) with a wide variety of surface soils : stony then red, ocher and almost blue clays sometimes.
La Migoua is a well-known and characteristic place of geological thrust, often studied for its very interesting complexity. Here we find an outcrop of much older soil than on the rest of the appellation. It is in this wild environment alternating guarrigue and pine forests, that the vineyards are intertwined. This fragmented cuvée comes from a high altitude terroir on the Beausset-Vieux massif, geologically complex but also wild. A fine selection makes it possible to best express these specificities. All of this gives an intense wine which François Peyraud, son of Lulu and Lucien, says "he is making a ball", so much does he line his mouth before laying down on the freshness.
Grape varieties: Mourvèdre (55%), supplemented with Cinsault (~ 25%), and Grenache (~ 15%) and syrah.
All the spirits offered are in stock and also available in our store at 3 rue Lucien Faure in BORDEAUX - Line stop B/7/32 Cité du vin
